DEAN MARNEY says Hull cannot afford to wallow in Jimmy Bullard's injury.

Marney and his teammates are gutted Bullard will be out for six weeks with knee ligament damage.

The midfielder had inspired Hull's revival, helping them climb clear of relegation danger.

But Marney claims the Tigers must focus on tomorrow's home clash with Blackburn.

"It's obviously a blow," he said. "I'd been enjoying playing with Jim.

"But we can't dwell on him being out. We've got players who are more than capable of doing a job."

Boss Phil Brown added: "Every manager wants his best players available, but there's a big opportunity for someone to step into his shoes."
